  Health, Safety and Environmental considerations have been addressed separately at the Coal Tar Refining Company refinery over many years. However, today's approach is a new, systematic and comprehensive one, managed under a unified management framework.

  Accordingly, Coal Tar Refining Company intends to utilize the HSE Management System and establish a creative cultural platform together with a new and systematic approach to define and clarify the interrelationships among health, safety and environmental factors. Through this approach, deficiencies, potential hazards, accidents and challenges will be systematically assessed, and prevention-based methods will be developed and implemented.
